The whole unit could could use a good cleaning. The power plug in the back of the radio is fraying just a bit and could be replaced. Other than that, the radio is in decent condition for how old it is.

    The item for sale today is a Vintage Zenith TransOceanic Tube Radio.  It was made in the 1950s and the model of the chassis is 5H40.
    The radio is used and does have quite a bit of wear from previous use and old age.  The radio does turn on and works.  The tuning knob is broken and you are unable to change the station.  The whole unit could could use a good cleaning.  The power plug in the back of the radio is fraying just a bit and could be replaced.  Other than that, the radio is in decent condition for how old it is. The radio will need some work on it.
