VINTAGE M1 GARAND BANDOLIER BANDOLEER CARTRIDGE BELT

Description

Up for auction is a M1 Garand bandolier.  It appears to be NOS however, since I can’t prove it, it will be listed as “USED”.  The bandolier will come with a cardboard insert in each pocket of the bandolier.  The front of the bandolier is stamped “CAL .30 BALL M2, 8RD CLIPS, TW  41609”.  The back of the bandolier is stamped “M. SLOANE CO., INC., JANUARY 195(?)”.  The last number in the year is blurred so I don’t know whether it is a 5 or a 3.  Back of last pouch on bandolier is s little discolored.  It looks to me like common dirt and I think it should come out with hand washing (no guarantees)  Also included are 2 sections of a cartridge belt.  Each section has 5 individual pouches each of which holds one enbloc clip with 8 .30-06 cartridges.  Missing is the web belt and the closure on one of the groups of pouches.
