  • Condition: This unit is being sold in "As Is" condition. Has been part of my Father's 60+ year collection. This Radio has had some restoration over the years i am sure. However, ( Newer Speaker I can see for sure). My Dad ensured all Radios played before going into his collection. The unit has a beautiful shine with some light scratches. .Super clean....However, could use a good polishing I am sure. Not sure, but finish looks to be original with beautiful wood grain and detail and patina. Radios plays and picks up AM stations well a little scratcy when turning knobs. Needs an antenna for best reception. Inside is very clean with all stickers and stamps. However, all of his 60 year collection is being sold in "as is condition" with no Returns or Refunds. May need to be looked at after shipping as electronics are fragile. That said please ask questions before bidding. Appears to have all original stickers and decals inside and out..

    Description

    For sale is an absolutely beautiful 1936 General Electric Tombstone Tabletop Tube Radio Model E-61. This wood  unit has a beautiful grain and makes a real Statement piece. It Measures: 16" High  X 11" Wide X 7.5" Deep. This Radio is from my Father's 60 year collection and has seen little use. Plays Standard broadcast well. Again, this Radio is being sold in "As Is" condition, with no refunds or returns. It will leave here working, not sure what vibration will do,  based on this unit being close to 85 years old.  It is a rather heavy unit and will be packed well as I have all tyhe Radios I have sold already.
