produced to original Specs with original post war OD Green color cotton web. All sling metal is PARKERIZED to the original MIL SPEC and NOT the shiny black or mixed metal colors found on all the repro's!! Sling tab is only "shiny" part of sling and are actually the same part used on USGI slings since WWII as same company supplies us to this day!! Lots of folks claim to have unissued cotton slings from "current contractor," sad thing is
only nylon is still being made for the government (we carry those in our other Ebay offerings)
, so unless you have the issue OLD packaging, it's a reproduction, these are NO LONGER produced under contract.

made to proper Post War OD color and webbing is to proper dimension so not too thick or wide to hamper use.  This also means you
WON'T
have to
wash or "break in"
the canvas.
- Keeper Buckles lock tight so
NO
slipping of web when closed and they release easily for quick adjustments.
- Hardware is Parkerized to the original MIL SPEC (ALL three pieces vs some grey, some black like other repros). End tab is the only black metal on these and that is as the original were finished as ours come from the very same USGI supplier.
- Slings are made to Spec and are approx. 1-1/4" wide by 48" (45" max fully extended from Sling hook to keeper loop)
- These will fit most all commercial rifles and shotguns with
1- 1/4" wide swivels.
- Perfect for Appleseed / Liberty Rifle use.
