    Description

    This is a gorgeous, brown Zenith tube radio Model H511 (circa 1951) which looks and plays great.
    Zenith's iconic and highly sought after H511 was sold as a special "Consoltone" radio but collectors have long referred to it as Zenith's "racetrack" model. Its design is a last gesture by Zenith to the look of art deco "streamliners," while simultaneously moving toward more modern mid-century designs which quickly followed in the mid-1950's.
    The cabinet is glossy and in excellent condition. The brass plate has little bit off pitting. See you see pictures for details
    This radio has been fully tested and is in excellent working condition.
    The radios knobs are original and have no cracks or breaks. Its distinctive "Z" operating light is fully functional.
    It has an internal antenna and plays with excellent sensitivity and fidelity, picking up stations clearly across the dial without any hum.
    This is an unusually well-preserved radio.
