Weatherstripping seal failure can cause leaks that allow moisture and wind noise to infiltrate into the cabin of your vehicle. 100% Acrylic vs Other Plastics
Acrylic (PMMA) is a transparent thermoplastic homopolymer made from the derivation of natural gas, known more commonly by the trade name “plexiglass.” While acrylic is a plastic, not all plastic is acrylic. Many subpar, lesser quality visors on the market are made using ABS plastic, modified acrylic, or a combination of both. They tend to warp, discolor, and become unpolished through time. Many sellers claim their window visors are acrylic but most are not. Advantages of 100% acrylic window visors are:

No warping
No fading
No discoloration
No cloudiness
No cracking
BPA Free
One simple way to know if your window visors are made of 100% acrylic is to check and see if you’re able to clearly see through them like sunglasses. Another way to know is the price. The cost of 100% acrylic vs ABS or modified acrylic is three times higher. Remember, you get what you pay for.
ABS plastic is opaque (not transparent) and not typically used in high heat situations due to its low melting point. Most warping issues stem from window visors manufactured using ABS.
Modified acrylic is more translucent than transparent as compared to 100% acrylic. Allowing light, but visibility is not detailed. Modified acrylic scratches easily, dents easily, and cannot be polished.
Damage Details
We make every effort to prevent any damages during transit. However, in the event your item does arrive damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Once notified, we will ask you to provide clear pictures showing all damage(s) to the item and the condition of the box. These pictures are needed to open a damage claim with our shipping carrier.
