Dazzling 1953 PURPLE Capehart Model TC-62 Clock Radio, Restored and Works Great!

Years ago, I was driving through the White Mountains of New Hampshire, came upon a roadside yard sale and found this striking beauty sitting on a table. It’s a 1953 Capehart mode TC-62 clock radio. Of course I was drawn by its dazzling 1950’s modern design, but what really caught my attention was the fact that it’s PURPLE! Indeed, it’s one of the only original purple plastic radios I’ve ever come across.
The case, which measures 12.5”w x 5.5”h x 5”d, is in great condition, with no cracks or chips, and both the clock and the 6-tube radio have been meticulously restored and work perfectly.
If you’re a radio collector, or a clock collector, or a 1950’s design enthusiast or a purple enthusiast, this set is a must have. You’re not going to come across another one like it. Best of all, I am offering it here with NO RESERVE – high bidder takes it!
