CENTER THEATRE MUSICAL STAGE PRODUCTION ROCKEFELLER CENTER MANHATTAN NEW YORK CITY This is a real nice four color image of the stage production of White Horse Inn at the Center Theatre which was part of the Rockefeller Center complex. It was originally designed to be the RKO Roxy Theatre and opened in 1932. It later gave way to theatre and ice skating productions. It was demolished in 1954 and was the only building in the Rockefeller Center complex ever to be torn down.
The image is captioned at the top and bottom margins and reads Scene From Erik Charell’s White Horse Inn – Starring William Gaxton And Kitty Carlisle – Center Theatre Rockefeller Center New York City. The Broadway version of White Horse Inn premiered at the Center Theatre on October 1

1936. Postally unused and having a divided back. Great well composed image. Nice and crisp without any creases bends rips or tears with just very minor corner wear. The name of the publisher is mentioned on the reverse side as being Eagle Post Card Company New York City. On the reverse it also says The Management Will Be Pleased To Stamp And Mail This Card If You Will Address It And Hand It To An Usher. A great addition to any Center Theatre , Rockefeller Center , Art Deco , Musical , Stage Production , White Horse Inn , Kitty Carlisle , Performance , Performer , Manhattan , or New York City collection.
