    2 FIRE HOUSE HORSE DRAWN STEAM FIRE WAGON

    Both of these are really nice views of horse drawn fire wagons of the Warsaw New York Fire Department. The top view pictures six uniformed firemen aboard a horse rawn fire wagon with a seventh man standing near the rear of the wagon holding a fire trumpet. The wagon is being pulled by two very large horses. I might make mention that both the horses in this image have the very same legs markings as do the horses I the card pictured at the bottom. This card is captioned at the bottom margin and reads Chemical And Hose Wagon Of Fire Department Warsaw New York. The image is in excellent condition without any visible wear. Perfect. The reverse side is postally used bearing a 1909

    cancel and having a divided back. The name of the publisher is mentioned on the reverse side as being Wilson Buffalo New York. The second card pictures the interior of the fire house looking towards a horse drawn fire wagon with six firemen aboard. The wagon is pulled by the same two large horses. The image is captioned at the bottom margin and reads Fire Team Warsaw New York. The name of the local photographer is mentioned in the right margin as being J. Hofstetter & Company Warsaw New York. The name of the publisher is mentioned on the reverse side being Wilson of Buffalo New York the same as the first card. The condition is overall nice and crisp without any creases bends rips or tears with just some very very very minor corner wear. Sharp tips. Just about perfect. The white spot near the upper right corner of the image looks like part of a ceiling fixture and is not damage to the surface of the card. The reverse side is postally unused and has a divided back. Both are very nice and are great addition to any Fire House , Fire Truck , Fire Department , Fireman , Firemen , House Drawn Steam Fire Engine ,
