1955 PHILCO Sportster F675-124 AM Tube Radio Transistor style ~ WORKS GREAT!!
This eBay listing is for a retro cool find - it's a vintage PHILCO model F675-124 AM radio that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above.   I just plugged this in and easily tuned in local AM stations in my basement and the volume knob works good as well.   And no static!   I thought this was a transistor radio and was surprised when I opened up the back and found tubes inside.   Overall - the condition is excellent with the exception of the stitching in 1 area.   The overall size of this radio is 9.5" across, 6.5" tall and about 3.75" thick.    This model is called the "Sportster" and dates to around 1955-1956 according to a quick google search.
